Moru's Crafts

For the past few days, I haven’t done very much that is creative. I have been playing my new Xbox 360. I am addicted. I promise there are some more things coming up, but this time I’m just sharing with you the things that I want to do very soon! I have a list of things I want to do and take pictures for you. The first thing is from a blog called “My Gramma Said” I saw a tutorial from them that I’m going to do with an oversized shirt I had laying around. It’s a DIY peasant top. I saw it pinned on pinterest.

Now I’m turning this into a summery top… because I don’t like how it fits. Frankly it’s gigantic. It’s about three sizes too big, but I’m really looking forward to what it looks like after I complete the tutorial.

I have tried a few different crafts, one that I forgot to take pictures of — but it was just painting one of my thrift store finds. I changed it from black to green. It’s a candle holder that’s shaped like a vase for a rose. It has one metal “leaf” protruding from the side, and I’m really excited to get a candle to put in it. I’m thinking I’ll get a deep red candle to put on it. I had a paint sample for my balcony, which got red spray paint on it when I changed the color of some shelves. So I just used that. 

The other thing I did was a complete failure. I’ll explain more about that one in my next post. =) and away back to the video games I go. Expect another post from me tomorrow! Inspiration Monday. Hopefully I’ll be inspired by something tomorrow morning. =)
